FERIA GASTRÓNOMA POSPONE SU X EDICIÓN POR LA TRAGEDIA DE LA DANA

The event served as the perfect backdrop to showcase Mediterrãnea Gastrõnoma at the Valencian Region’s tourism stand during the official ceremony in which the Valencian Gastrotourism Network was also presented.
The President of the Valencian Regional Government, Ximo Puig; the Regional Secretary for Tourism, Francesc Colomer, and the presidents of the provincial councils of Alicante, Castellon and Valencia also took part in the event. Mediterrãnea Gastrõnoma was presented by the fair’s Chairman, Carlos Mataix, and its Executive Chairwoman, Cuchita Lluch.
Madrid 22nd January 2020 – MEDITERRÃNEA GASTRÕNOMA today unveiled its new corporate image at FITUR 2020, as part of the Valencian Regional Government’s Tourist Board (GVA) event. The brand seeks to bring all the values of the Mediterranean together under a single umbrella.
«MEDITERRÃNEA GASTRÕNOMA is the benchmark event in the Mediterranean and all eyes are on us. At the last fair, over 200 Spanish journalists and international journalists from eight countries reported on our region through MEDITERRÃNEA GASTRÕNOMA», said Cuchita Lluch, the event’s Executive Chairwoman, who also announced that the next fair is to be held from 8th to 10th November 2020.
Lluch added that MEDITERRÃNEA GASTRÕNOMA is the biggest and best showcase for our cuisine and our region. «It explains the way we see and live life,» she said, before showing the video of the repositioning of Gastrónoma, now Mediterrãnea Gastrõnoma, the Mediterranean food fair. She was accompanied on stage by Carlos Mataix, the Chairman of Mediterrãnea Gastrõnoma.
The event was attended by the President of the Valencian Regional Government, Ximo Puig; the Regional Secretary for Tourism, Francesc Colomer, and the presidents of the Provincial Councils of Alicante, Castellon and Valencia, who also signed and ratified their commitment to the Valencian Gastrotourism Network.
Mediterrãnea Gastrõnoma is backed by the Valencian Regional Government and the Provincial Councils of Alicante, Castellon and Valencia. It is organised by Feria Valencia, with the support of the leading industry associations.
