Feria Gastronómica del Mediterráneo

FERIA GASTRÓNOMA POSPONE SU X EDICIÓN POR LA TRAGEDIA DE LA DANA

An exclusive pop-up restaurant: the experience concept of Gastrónoma 2019

From 10th to 12th November at Feria Valencia, an exclusive gourmet restaurant will be opening with a special menu for each day: Nazario Cano and Rubén Escudero, two promising young chefs from the Costa Blanca, and the Japanese chef, Nobuaki Fushiki, together with Diego Laso, will be in charge of the tasting menus.

This year, Gastrónoma takes another step forward and rounds off the most important fair in the Mediterranean with an exclusive pop-up restaurant where visitors can taste different culinary creations prepared by top national and international chefs.

On Sunday 10th November, Nazario Cano (El Rodat, Javea, 1*) and Rubén Escudero, Gastón Acurio’s right-hand man at Manko (Paris-Acurio Restaurants) will be moving their kitchens to Gastrónoma to offer a unique and exclusive menu. Only 20 diners will be treated to a magical experience in which two great cuisines will be fusing temporarily for the first time and where diners will be able to share their perceptions with the chefs. They will be joined by the baker Eloi Garrigues Vall and the wines of Vinícolas.

The Costa Blanca Tourism Board celebrates ‘Costa Blanca Day’ at Gastrónoma. On Monday 11th, the province’s young talents will be creating a special menu entitled ‘The future of gastronomy on the Costa Blanca‘ to showcase its potential and demonstrate its culinary excellence. Snacks, four main courses, pre-desserts and desserts will make this menu a unique experience to savour the products and culture of the province of Alicante. The chefs will be Jorge Moreno (Voraz, Alicante), Nanín Pérez (Mauro, Alicante), Borja Susilla (Tula, Javea) and Kiko Lázaro (Belvedere, Benidorm).

On the last day of the fair, it will be the turn of Japanese cuisine and the age-old techniques of fermenting ingredients, represented at Gastrónoma by the chef Nobuaki Fushiki alongside Diego Laso, from the Valencian restaurant Momiji Atelier. A great opportunity to taste Japanese ancestral culture and tradition without leaving Valencia. A little piece of Japan for a unique and unrepeatable experience.

Gastrónoma is backed by the Valencian Regional Government and the Provincial Councils of Alicante, Castellon and Valencia. It is organised by Feria Valencia, with the support of the leading industry associations and the cooperation of the Valencian Region’s top chefs.
